Water Jet Cutting

Water jet cutting is a cold cutting process, where the material is cut with water using high pressure. We exclusively use the environmentally friendly pure water cutting. With pure water cutting, the jet has a very small diameter and thus can cut very precisely. The lower the material thickness, the better results can be achieved. The process enables time-saving bundling of several operations and achieves exceptional cutting performance. That’s why we can produce very complex shapes with precision and clean cut edges. The waterjet is equally suitable for small and large batches, as we can create cutting files with relatively little effort and the process itself is very fast. Pure water jet cutting is very environmentally friendly, it does not produce gaseswater pollution, splinters, dust or air pollution. We re-use the used water in circulation .

2D Waterjet Cutting

With our 2D waterjet cutting machines, the waterjet always cuts from above. The 2D water jet is usually faster compared to a 3D waterjet and therefore more cost effective.

3D Waterjet Cutting

With our 3D water jet, we can process three-dimensional workpieces. Frequently, the shape of a part requires trimming from various angles. Due to the 3D cut, we can also cut very complex shapes.

Clear advantages of Waterjet Cutting

The water jet has convincing advantages, compared to other cutting methods. It achieves a cold and gentle cut with extremely high precision. In addition, the material will not be changed, warped or damaged during the cutting process.

With the water jet we cut plasticstextiles, elastomers, thermoplastics, fiber materials or even foams and insulating materials. It is of particular importance for the separation of composites for which the waterjet is perfectly suitable. We can easily cut the following materials:

  • Plastics such as ABS, polypropylene, acrylic glass, polycarbonate, PE, PVC
  • Composite materials such as natural fibers composites (NFPC), carbon fiber composites (CFRP) and fiberglass composites (GRP)
  • Nonwovens made of polyester, wool or natural fibers as well as foams or rubber
